Peg and I went to my daughter in law's mom's home for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Our contribution both times was desserts. (Peg makes the most fabulous cheesecakes)

This was a recipe I found in a magazine - easy with spectacular results:

Lemon-Berry Tart

1 tube refrigerated sugar cookie dough
1 jar lemon curd
2 pints fresh raspberries
fresh mint for garnish

Press sugar cookie dough into a tart pan, along the bottom and up the sides evenly. Bake at 350 degrees until shell is golden brown. Remove from oven and allow to cool.

Rinse and dry raspberries, dry and set aside.

When tart shell has cooled, spoon the lemon curt into it and spread evenly. Place berries on top in an even layer and garnish with mint leaves.

This is an old recipe I remember making when I was a teenager:

Divine Kisses

16 whole graham crackers, crushed
1 can sweetened condensed milk
6 oz. Nestle's semisweet mini-chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease an 8X8 baking pan.

Pour graham cracker crumbs into a bowl. Pour in sweetened, condensed milk, scraping as much as possible out of the can. Add chocolate chips. Fold the ingredients together with a spatula until they are well combined and pour into prepared baking pan.

Bake for 30 minutes or until the top is golden brown. When cooled a bit, cut into 16 squares because this is very rich!
